Fiesta de los Muertos on South Pearl Street

Friday, November 1st

4PM - 9PM | Old South Pearl Street

1400 South Pearl Street, Denver

Join us in celebration of Dia de los Muertos (also November's First Friday Art Walk) with several merchants on South Pearl Street! 5 green boxes, Second Star to the Right Books, R Bazaar, Gallery 1505, Uno Mas Taqueria, Whole Cat and Hazel will be host to these events and altars. We will honor the Day of the Dead with art, food (Mujeres Emprendedoras Cooperative), music, dance (Tom Ogunribido) and cultural exchange. Learn about altar-making, paper flowers, and shop with vendors that will help you honor your ancestors, loved ones and Mexican culture.

Dia de los Muertos

Saturday, November 2nd

9AM - 3PM | Denver Botanic Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens’ observance of Día de los Muertos features indoor screenings of Disney’s Pixar film "Coco, " traditional music, community altar, face painting and more. While you’re here, enjoy the display of ofrendas created by members of the Denver community and a special holiday exhibition in the Bonsai Pavilion.

Cheese/Meat & Beer Pairing

6-8PM | Great Divide Brewing Company

Cheese Meat Board will be with us at the Great Divide Ball Park taproom from 6pm to 8pm pairing 3 delicious beers with your choice of either cheese or meat! Cost is $15, first come, first served. Hope to see you there!

The Polar Express Train Ride

Nitro Fest 2019

Saturday, November 9th

4PM - 10PM | Left Hand Brewing Company

Nitro Fest is America's only exclusively nitrogenated beer festival, featuring rebelliously rare beers poured by acclaimed breweries from across the globe, as well as and invite-only list of the best nitro beers from the United States. Family Day: Exploring Fantastic Fossils

Family Days inspire wonderment about the natural world in families and kids of all ages. We’ll explore topics through hands-on activities including creative take-home crafts, up-close observations, play-based activities, and experiments. This Family Day, imagine the Arctic 100 million years ago. How cold was it? Was it dark for 6 months of the year? What lived there? Join us to discover the answers about all the critters big and small that inhabited the far poles long ago.

Chili Cook Off

Saturday, November 16th

11AM - 1PM | Grand Prix Motorsports

Join us at Grand Prix Motorsports for our annual Chili Cook-Off! Tasting will begin at 11:00am and go until 12:00pm and the winners will be announced at 12:30pm. Grand Prix Motorsports gift cards will be awarded to the top chilis! Get your free tickets and sign up if you want to be a contestant or simply attend and eat some great chili.

Mac n’ Cheese 5k

Sunday, November 17th

8:30AM - 11:30AM | Boulder Running Company, Cherry Creek

Denver's premier 5k road race, starting and finishing in Washington Park. The Mac 'N Cheese 5k is a flat and fast course, offering $5,000 in prize money, age group awards, and plenty of food and beverages at the post-race party!

11th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting & Santa’s Arrival

Friday, November 22nd

6PM - 8PM | The Streets at SouthGlenn - 6851 S Gaylord Street, Centennial

Safari Camp at Denver Zoo

Monday, November 25th - Wednesday, November 27th

9AM - 4PM | Denver Zoo

During Fall & Winter Safari Mini-Camps, campers will learn to design solutions to real challenges animals face across Denver Zoo! They will create solutions to help animals learn, grow, and play, innovate ways to keep our animals comfortable and healthy, and think critically to construct dream homes for our residents! Paired with fun camp activities like investigating animals from around the world, playing games, making new friends, and meeting Zoo ambassador animals, it’s a perfect way to spend school breaks!
