The festival will continue its 36-year tradition of being the largest free admission food and music festival in Colorado attracting over 500,000 attendees over the three-day weekend. A Taste of Colorado has something for everyone with over 50 food vendors, 175 marketplace vendors, a Kids Zone with arts, crafts & a children’s entertainment stage and the elevated music experience with a larger main stage featuring over 25 national and regional musical acts.


Furry First Fridays: Dog Adoption Rescue Event Friday, September 6th | 4PM - Close Stanley Marketplace, Aurora, CO


On each Furry First Friday, MAMCO will bring dozens of rescued pups and some of their mama dogs to the west patio of Stanley for a community adoption event. We hope lots of you will help us find forever homes for these adorable canine friends. Applications for adoption may be filled out in advance at www.mamcorescue.org


30th Annual Denver Art Museum Friendship Powwow Saturday, September 7th | 10AM - 5PM Denver Art Museum, Denver, CO


One of the Denver Art Museum’s (DAM) longest-running events, the 30th Annual Friendship Powwow and American Indian Cultural Celebration will feature American Indian dancers, drum groups, hands-on activities, booths hosted by artists and community groups, and more. General admission free.


Homeschool Day 2019 Thursday, September 12th | 10AM - 3PM Downtown Aquarium, Denver, CO


Home schooled students and their families are invited to join us for homeschool day at the Downtown Aquarium on Thursday,

September 12th! You'll be able to explore the Aquarium Exhibits for a discounted rate, participate in educational classroom programs and enjoy visits from animal ambassadors throughout the day! Sunnyside Music Festival 2019 Saturday, September  14th | 12PM - 7:30PM 44th and Tejon, Chaffee Park, Denver, CO


This year's Sunnyside Music Fest features some of the most

musically diverse and exciting acts to take the stage, including longtime Sunnyside natives, honkey-tonking local music pioneers, a first-generation Iranian-American vocal powerhouse, a psychedelic Peruvian dance party, and a bit of sweaty soul. This is a free event with no tickets needed.

(Police, Fire & EMT) with FREE Park Admission for the day. The free admission ticket can be obtained at the Main Gate ticket windows by showing their issued badge on Saturday, September 21, 2019 only. Special friends and family discount can be purchased at the Main Gate ticket windows for only $28.99 when accompanied by Hero. (Valid Sept. 21 only).

Join us for the first annual Food Truck Fight®! Located at the Town Center at Aurora outside of JC Penny, come for a day of fun for the whole family. Enjoy a wide variety of food trucks, ice cold beer & beverage tent, live music, bounce houses, and more! Each food truck will feature a $2 sample item in addition to their full menu, and you'll decide the winner by dropping your voting token off at your favorite truck.
