June 5th - Summer Used Book Sale (Denver Public Library)


The Annual Summer Used Book Sale is scheduled for June 5 - June 8, 2019. The preview sale will happen on June 4. We will have the event indoors in the B2 Conference Center at Central Library. 10am-4pm each day of the sale. Come on out!

June 6th - Flicks for Chicks | Free Outdoor Movies


Flicks for Chicks is BACK for another amazing year under our warm, Colorado summer skies. Join us weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9pm for FLICKS FOR CHICKS, a free movie night experience in our courtyard. We’ve pre-selected some of America’s FAVORITE chick flicks to air on our OUTDOOR, 190” LED tv. June 6th 7pm-9pm: Sex in the City. Enjoy complimentary popcorn as well as our full dinner menu. June 7th - Colfax Art Crawl: Circus Street Party


Join 40 West Arts District and the 40 West ArtLine for a FREE outdoor celebration of circus arts, acts and events.

- Rainbow Militia will be spinning aerial arts high in the sky above the green line. See them twirl and spin on silk fabrics throughout the evening.

- Artist Greg Wazil is bringing his metal menagerie of animals for an outdoor sculpture garden of circus animals.

- Enjoy circus style foods including a cotton candy station, popcorn station, snow cone station and more.

- See weird, wild and wonderful individuals who choose to look a little “different” (think tattoos, piercings, wild outfits and more).

- We also invite kids of all ages to wear your costumes … superheroes, princesses, comic book characters and other, where you at? Add to the circus fun by wearing anything and everything!

June 15th - Colorado Renaissance Festival


Opening day for the Colorado Renaissance Festival 2019 is Saturday June 15th at 10am. It runs 8 weekends rain or shine until Sunday August 4th.

June 16th - Father’s Day Belly Flop Splashdown


"Dad Bods" UNITE! Time to put your belly to good use and compete for CASH and other great prizes during our Father’s Day Belly Flop SPLASHDOWN! It all starts Sunday June 16, at 1:00 pm for Prelims & 2:00 pm for Finals (time subject to change).

June 22nd - Citizens for the River Festival


The best FREE summer festival in Denver is back! Citizens for the River is being combined with the South Platte RiverFest this year to create one amazing day on the River. Try a standup paddle board or kayak, grab a drink and some food, check out the Kid's Zone, and dance to live music all day. NEW THIS YEAR: There will be a full day of live music, ending in an evening concert with performances by Nicki Bluhm and Anders Osborne! Join the Town of Frederick as we celebrate the many forms of flight June 21,22 & 23 with a hot air balloon lift each morning, glow party on Saturday night, and tons of fun for the whole family! The balloons lift at daybreak, weather permitting. Balloons lift off between 5:30 a.m. - 6 a.m.
